Anywhëre in the coastal regions. Pula in Dalmatia has an amphitheatre that's still in use and possibly the BEST pizza outside Italy. I also reccommend a trip (or 3) to Zagreb, it rely oesn't fel like a capital city at all and there's lots to do. Croatian people are SO friendly,(although I have to say that as I have a friend from Croatia).
